Course Briefing

A Revit plumbing course is a training program that teaches individuals how to use the Revit software to design plumbing systems for buildings. Course Objectives

The objective of this course includes but is not limited to the followings:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the plumbing design process and how Revit can be used to create accurate and efficient plumbing systems.

  • Learn to create plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings in Revit, and understand how to use the software's tools to create complex plumbing networks and systems.

  • Understand how to analyze and optimize plumbing designs using Revit's built-in hydraulic analysis tools to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Develop proficiency in creating plumbing drawings and documentation using Revit, including plumbing plans, schedules, and construction details.

​Set Sanitary Drain Pipe View Range,

Examine the Plumbing Fixture Families in template file,

Load Additional Plumbing Fixture Families,

Place Floor Mount Toilets,

Use Dimension method to position toilet,

Use Copy Multiple Method to complete other toilets,

Place Lavatories,

Place Floor Drains,

Topic-3  Create Toilet and Floor Drain Lines - 2 Hrs

Additional Pipe Fitting Families,

Create Toilet and Floor Drain System,

Generate Layout,

Select Base, Slope,..,Add P trap to floor Drain.

Topic-4  Connect Urinal Drain Pipe Lines - 2 Hrs

Select Urinals,

New System-sanitary 2,

Set base offset-elevation from Floor,

same thing for main and branch piping,

merge system 2 with system 1

Cetification Pre-Requisite:

  • A four-year degree

  • 12 months of hands on experince

  • 30 hours of class room training

  • A diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent)

  • 60 months hands on experince

  • 30 hours of class room training

Evaluation 

  • Learning outcomes are evaluated through a psychometric test.

  • 60-minute online AI proctored test.

  • Multiple choice question.

  • No negative marking.

  • Attend exams from anywhere.
