Course Briefing

This course provides practical knowledge on tender viability assessment, rate analysis, and cost evaluation for construction projects. Participants will learn to assess project feasibility, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure cost-effective project implementation. Ideal for engineers, project managers, and quantity surveyors aiming to enhance decision-making and financial control in construction.

Course Objectives

The objective of this course includes but is not limited to the followings :

  • Understand construction and implementation principles in Bangladesh, addressing cost overruns and delays.

  • Apply PWD, RHD, and LGED rate schedules for item-wise BOQ and cost analysis.

  • Master tender preparation, cost estimation, and financial viability assessment.

  • Develop budgeting, cost control, and risk management skills.

  • Ensure quality control per BNBC 2020 and international standards through case studies and discussions.
